BASEBALL TRYOUTS / EVALS
Marshfield Sandlot Baseball is holding 2027 player evaluations and tryouts to help form new teams and fill available roster opportunities. We are currently forming two new 7U teams and additional teams at 9U, 11U, and 13U, with the 11U age group entering the competitive Beasts/Jets structure.
Ages
Open to players eligible for 7U through 13U baseball for the 2027 season, with current team-formation needs at:
7U – Two new teams
9U – Second team
11U – Second team / competitive tryout
13U – Second team
When
Evaluations: Wednesday, September 9, 2026
Backup Date: Wednesday, September 16, 2026
Evaluation Time Slots
- 4:00–5:00 PM: 7–8 year olds
- 4:30–6:30 PM: 9–11 year olds
- 6:00–8:00 PM: 12–14 year olds
Players should attend the time slot that corresponds with their age group.

Players should arrive ready for baseball activities and bring their glove, bat, helmet, cleats/athletic shoes, and any position-specific equipment they normally use.
Additional Info
Players eligible for 8U or 10U may also register at no cost to be placed on a waitlist. If roster openings become available at those age levels, families will be contacted based on team needs and available space.
Currently rostered Sandlot players do not need to attend. The annual non-competitive developmental evaluations for existing 8U-10U rosters will take place in the spring of 2027.

There is a $20 tryout fee to be paid at registration.
